Gamifying Meta Life
In the long-term, Meta Life not only has the ambition to become the most visited and praised metaverse but to also become a recognized MMO for players to play in. While the initial scope of Meta Life is to offer the market a stunning metaverse to explore, participate in events and meet friends in, our ambition doesn’t stop there. Ultimately, we will inevitably enter the gaming business, as a Play & Earn actor.
Entering the gaming market
Meta Life will no longer operate only in the niche of metaverses but also in the gaming market which will in turn attract a significant amount of new players eager to discover the extraordinary world of Meta Life.
Projections for the video-game industry set it to grow from 204 billion $ in 2022 to 583 billion $ in 2030 (Verified Market Research). Meta Life will thus not only benefit from the metaverse market’s growth but also that of the video-game industry, whose future also lies on projects such as Meta Life.
When working on a project of this scope, we also aim to leave our mark in the business we operate in by making sure we can participate in the expansion of a promising market whose future is yet to be developed.
New possibilities for players
Meta Life will offer a new scope and for players. Switching from a metaverse to a fully-fletched video game means we are able to highly diversify the number of possibilities that players have access to in Meta Life.
To illustrate this venture, we have defined a specific scope of work around which revolves our approach of Meta Life: the game. Because we know how various the spectrum of players is today, we have defined Player Personas to answer to the variety of gamer profiles. Whether the player is a multi-dimensional persona or an evolving one, Meta Life aims to address all his needs in one unique virtual space.
To make sure that one player’s needs aren’t shadowing another one’s, and to keep a certain balance within Meta Life, all activities will be available from The Hub in which players will be able to choose which activity to play in. The Hub acting as a neutral space where all players can gather regardless of their preferences.
Socializers: Meta Life provides a sophistical space for socializers to interact with their friends. Explore the beautiful lands and areas of Meta Life, that other players might have helped create. Participate in metaverse-wide or land-specific events, either organized by players or by the Meta Life team itself. Team-up with friends or strangers to play PVP games in the Battle Arenas, or escape on an incredible journey into the open-world. Meta Life aims to become a social hub like no other.
Killers: Killers will be immersed in demanding Player vs Player (PVP) and Player vs Enemies (PVE) engagements that Meta Life will provide them with. Killers will work to improve their skills with Weapons and increase their equipment stats with Armors to better fight their adversaries in exciting Battle Arenas or in PVP open-world areas. Killers will also be able to make the most out of Meta Life monetization as they will be the most prone to generating METAL rewards, should they excel at fighting.
Achievers: Achievers will enjoy the thrill of pushing the envelope of what’s possible to its limits. They will target the top positions in leaderboards, or create increasingly difficult games on their lands for other players to compete in.
Builders: Builders are the architects of the metaverse, those whose passion lies directly in the creativity that Meta Life will enable them to unfold. Either for recreational purposes or for fun, Builders will enjoy unleashing their imaginative skills in the game.
Explorers: Explorers will enjoy a rich, beautiful environment of an incredible diversity. Go on unforgettable journeys to explore the marvelous lands that make up the map of Meta Life. Solve mysteries, chase easter eggs, find rare treasures buried beneath unspoiled lands. The Explorer persona will see its passion for adventure fulfilled.
Investors: Meta Life answers the question “What is the return for a gamer who invests?” by making sure that all players who invest time and money in the game will benefit from Return-On-Investment (ROI) mechanisms directly inside the METAL-driven economy with an advantageous reward system (see 5. Tokenomics).
Meta Life aims to offer a much more rewarding experience than a traditional Web2 game. All players can be either persona at once, or at some times only, by constantly evolving as they try-out new activities or meet new people that introduce them to new scopes they hadn’t thought of.

Game flow
Players will be uploaded to The Hub, from which they’ll find different portals transporting them to:
Battle Arenas: players will have the opportunity to select between Multiplayer PVE, PVP as well as PVE Training Arenas with different and random battle scenarios, each with variable conditions from the number of players, the NPCs, the terrain, the map, the weather etc.
Cities: players can decide to cruise the cities of each faction to socialize with friends, participate in events, do daily missions, quests and challenges, get access to specific NPCs or vendors etc.
Open world: players will be able to explore, play, fight and go on amazing adventures in the open world of Meta Life, often wild, unspoiled and full of dangerous creatures but also where they will find the most amazing rewards.
Arenas creation: where the most creative gamers of our community can create their own challenging arenas for other players to play in.
